Croquettes with almonds and raisins

Croquettes with almonds and raisins are so easy to make. Here are the ingredients:

Gazelle Horns
-100g caster sugar
-1 Egg + yellow
-2 Tsp. tablespoons peanut oil
20g butter, melted
-7g baking powder
-100g blanched almonds, chopped coarsely
-100g raisins washed and dried
270g flour, sifted
-1 Butter
-1 Tsp. tablespoons flour

Preparation:

In a bowl, beat sugar and egg until mixture is fluffy. While whisking, add oil and butter. Gently stir in the yeast, almonds and grapes. Pour slowly and sprinkle in the flour and knead the dough until it reaches a soft consistency. Divide the dough into balls and roll them into sausages 4cm in diameter. Arrange on a baking sheet greased and floured, flatten slightly, making cuts with a fork and brush with egg yolk.

Bake at 180 ° C (th.6) for 10 minutes. Monitor the cooking, the sausages should be cooked without being semi gold. Remove from oven, let cool and cut in slices 1.5 cm thick. Book overnight. The next day, place the croquettes to cook in an oven preheated to 140 ° C (th.4-5) for 15 minutes. When they are lightly browned, remove from oven.

Note: You can substitute almonds for pistachios (unsalted) and dip the tip of each cake into melted chocolate pastry (kids love it). The croquettes will keep several days in an airtight container away from light.
