Massabbane of Safi

Massabbane of Safi are very tasty cookies. Here are the ingredients:

Gazelle Horns

- 500 g blanched almonds
- 350 g caster sugar
- 6 egg yolks
- 2 whole eggs
- The zest of one lemon grated
For background:
- 1 cup oil
- 1glass water
- ½ packet of yeast Alsa
- 2c. S. sugar
- Flour


Preparation:

 Chop the almonds with the powdered sugar, add lemon zest, finely grated.
Place over very low heat in a saucepan, stirring with wooden spoon and add the 6 egg yolks, one after another, always stirring so that the almonds will not stick.


Finally, we add 2 whole eggs, again stirring to obtain a very soft paw.
Remove from heat and let stand.
Meanwhile, prepare the dough for funds:
In a bowl, combine all ingredients and add flour, mixing just the dough (do not work) in order to obtain a light paste.


On a floured surface flatten the dough so as to get a piece very thin (almost transparent). Take 1 small serrated metal mold (molds masabban) and cut small rounds.
Put a ball of marzipan in the center of the circle of the paper and pick up the sides so as to obtain a form of pink. Sprinkle with colored granules.
Ranger on a sheet and put in preheated oven to cook Th 4 for 25 to 30 minutes watching cooking.

Cool and store in a dish.
