Fekkas

Fekkas is so delicous. Here are the ingredients:


Gazelle Horns
- 1.5 flour
- 500 g sugar
- 75 g yeast
- 3 c.s sesame
- 3 v. anise seed
- 5 seed gum arabic pounded with a sugar cube
- 1 cup melted butter tea
- Tea glass of water of orange flowers

Preparation:

Prepare a yeast with half the flour and 50 g of yeast dissolved in a little salted water.
Moisten until an elastic dough that you will work for ten minutes.
Cover and let stand 2 to 3 hours approximately.
- Once the dough, replace it on the work plan and add the remaining ingredients: first the butter and water from orange blossoms and anise, gum arabic, sesame, sugar, yeast is diluted in water, and finally the flour.
- Work again this mixture vigorously for several minutes, then train sticks 20cm long and 3 to 4 cm thick. Place in a warm spot, cover and let rise 2 hours.
- Before you bake, prick with a fork. Remove barely cooked and let rest overnight.
- Cut into rounds through in 2 to 3 mm thick and have a non-buttered dish and bake for few minutes.
