Moroccan Kaftan
There is a new breath for the Moroccan Kaftan or caftan (also
called Takchita). The first two editions of a show called
"Mode Made in Morocco" organized by Morocco Premium was a success. The
third was no exception to the rule.
The designers have gone one step further in their creativity. Nine
artists who, through their talent, have shown that the Moroccan caftan
has a place in the movement of international fashion.
The reactions of the public, which always crowds the event, are
enthusiastic. Everyone loves the sexy outfits, distinguished and
extremely fresh.

The artists demonstrated that the Moroccan Kaftan can be expressed
outside of traditional lines.
There is a real demand for it in the
country but also abroad, according to organizers.
If their sources of
inspiration are Moroccan by origin, their work environment puts them
naturally in the spirit of Parisian fashion.
All Moroccan designers also increasingly coming from abroad, bringing
new innovative ideas and creative techniques, a most encouraging sign
for the future of the fashion industry in Morocco, especially when
backed up by the many little hands behind these gorgeous pieces.
They really exhibit an inexhaustible source of inspiration for its
lines and
know-how of its craftsmen and maâlems of the Moroccan caftan.
Moroccans are proud of their kaftan, a symbol of popular culture deeply
rooted in their hearts.
Whatever the type or quality of this garment,
the takchita gives a character and an elegant appearance to women,
regardless of their social class.
It seems that the trend is to still devote their energy to create
innovative Takchita that women in Morocco continue to prefer over the
creations of modern dresses.
Here are some more pictures :
They look gorgeous! Every piece
is hand made.
