Taghazout
Taghazout is one of the most beautiful beaches of Morocco with its blue
clear water reflecting the sunlight.
It is one of the most popular beaches in the region of Agadir. Located
about twenty kilometers from the city of Agadir, Taghazout
beach can not go unnoticed.
The excellent weather in this region gives this beach a magical charm.
The coast enjoys a beautiful climate with the sun shimmering almost
throughout the year, and more specifically throughout 300 days,
allowing the beach to be among the most popular beaches at the national
level.
The village of taghazout and its local populaton add a rich cultural
experience to tourists. I loved watching the fishermen preparing their
nets in the morning.
Young people with their guitars, humming a few songs of Bob
Marley sitting on rocks where the waves come to rest and tourists
coming to appreciate the beauty of this beach. The women and children
collecting mussels around the rocks calls to a harmonious and sweet
existence here.
Because of its location on the Atlantic shore, this glorious
beach has a brightness that gives the waves a rare beauty. It is here
where I witnessed the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen.
Believe me when I say this beach has an atmosphere that combines
exceptional softness and purity of the air unparalleled. This climate
is largely due to the protection of the mountains of Cape Ghir site.
By all these attributes, the daytime temperature does not
drop much less than 22 °. C during winter and the water remains around
18.C. However, the range of Taghazout expands to even more attractive
aspects.
look how happy I got when jet skiing there...
The village of Taghazout is a popular site for surfers. With all the
features necessary, the beach offers some of the best waves at the
national level. Thus, and throughout the period from September to
April, the entire region benefits from world class waves. Ranging from
three to four meters, these waves invite all types of surfers.
This beach is very popular with both tourists and locals. Throughout
the year, Tarazout benefits from the presence of lovers of the sea
sometimes by tourists coming to relax in the quiet village, filled with
modest homes that overlook narrow streets, and sometimes by the people
of the region who choose to get out the city.
I loved jet skiing the most. For a mere 25 dollars I got to experience
the joy and the thrill of jet skiing for 30 minutes. And then
I caught a ride on a camel that just made this beach day perfect. There
are also horse rides available, but I liked the camel ride better.
All in all and of all the best Moroccan beaches I rank this in the
top five. Its proximity to
Agadir,
Essaouira,
Taroudant and
Marrakech
is just a big bonus.
I have found out that tripadvisor has great offers for Taghazout
